The word "Appalachia" means many different things to people.  To me, it is my home.  While one can find confirmation of the most negative stereotypes commonly presented by those living outside the area, I find the region to be one of beauty, both in the land and in the people.  This portfolio will present the beauty in the landscape of Appalachia.  I hope it brings great pleasure to you and reinforces the positive beauty that is what I call "Appalachia."
