Blackwater Falls, West Virginia in early fall of 2003


One of my first landscape photographic trips with the family was to Blackwater and Canaan Valley in September of 2003.  This is a quadtone presentation of the falls in an early morning mist prior to sunrise.  The roar of the falls is simultaneously comforting and intimidating.
