The Grand Canyon is probably one of the most visited and photographed natural wonders on Earth.  The beauty and awe of the canyon is difficult to convey in two dimensional photographs.  The lighting and shadows within the canyon help the photographer add more depth to the canyon than what is seen under fully illuminated conditions.  Our family visited the park in June of 2004 and these images are the ones I return to in order to recapture the moments at the canyon.  I hope the images bring back fond memories of your visit to the canyon or maybe inspire you to visit the canyon in the future.
