The image: This was the last sunset of our vacation.
I was perched precariously on a rock outcrop just east of Yavapai overlook.
The sky had a few lingering clouds, but not enough to dim the glow of the
setting sun. Internet Explorer color conversion displays the image with a
little too much red in the canyon walls. The dimensionality of the canyon
is what caught my eye with the deep shadows in the valley floor and between
ridge lines. This is a crop from a 6 frame mosaic taken with the Canon 10D
and the 70-200mm IS lens. The mosaic is really flawless and full of detail
in the canyon. A large print is really necessary to enjoy the grandeur of
the sight.
The print: The print is made with Epson ultrachrome
inks on a beautiful 100% cotton rag paper, Moab Entrada Natural. The paper
is acid free and totally archival for long term enjoyment. It is a gorgeous
mat paper that accentuates the details of the print and really pops canyon
colors. The print and mat board are
hand signed. The mat is a double mat. The print and mat are hinge mounted to an acid free foam
core board and then packaged in a clear photographic bag. The foam core
board has the Jeff Ball seal of authenticity to ensure that
you have full access to the Jeff Ball guarantees. Prints larger than
16x20" framed will be in a limited edition and signed and numbered accordingly.
This is a great chance to pick up a fine art print with the best material and
