Donald C. Martin Observatory
Donald C. Martin Observatory, Huntington, WV
The DCMO is located on Huntington High School drive. The observatory is home to a Celestron 14" Schmidt Cassegrain telescope manufactured in the 1970's.The telescope performs extremely well in a very challenging light polluted environoment. The telescope rides on an Astro-Physics 1200 GTO mount.
Modern technology permits some image acquisition to take place from this less-than-ideal location.
