The image: Outer space is a mix of dark and light matter.
The Pipe Nebula is referred to as a "dark nebula" because it blocks the light
from background stars and creates a texture of black against the stars of the
Milky Way. These dark nebula structures are fascinating and wonderful
objects for the fine art photographer.
The print: The print is made with Epson ultrachrome
inks on profiled Moab Entrada paper. The print and mat board are
hand signed. The mat is a double mat. The print and mat are hinge mounted to an acid free foam
core board and then packaged in a clear photographic bag. The foam core
board has the Jeff Ball seal of authenticity to ensure that
you have full access to the Jeff Ball guarantees. Prints larger than
16x20" framed will be in a limited edition and signed and numbered accordingly.
