The image:   I visited Death Valley in February 2005 with a very specific goal-to photograph the sand dunes in all of their glory at sunrise.  Well, sometimes Mother Nature doesn't give you what you expect.  There was little sun in "the hottest place in North America" on the weekend I visited.  I had hiked onto the sand dunes before sunrise and was disappointed when the light rays did not illuminate the dunes in a unique display of lines and patterns.  As I took in the location, this composition jumped right out at me.  I recall how excited I was at the time while composing the photograph.  This is the photograph that God wanted me to take this day.  I can't really explain the attraction to the image, I think it works on many levels, but I just love the photograph.  It has become one of my favorites and I hope it brings great satisfaction to you as well.  The view is looking west toward the Cottonwood Mountains.  The layers of clouds, color in the sky and clouds, contrasting with the lone tree and dunes just works for me.  Thanks for your interest in Jeff Ball Photography.

The print:    The print is made with Epson ultrachrome inks on a beautiful 100% cotton rag paper, Moab Entrada Natural.  The paper is acid free and totally archival for long term enjoyment.  It is a gorgeous mat paper that accentuates the details of the print.  The print and mat board are hand signed.  The mat is a double mat.  The print and mat are hinge mounted to an acid free foam core board and then packaged in a clear photographic bag.  The foam core board has the Jeff Ball seal of authenticity to ensure that you have full access to the Jeff Ball guarantees.  Prints larger than 16x20" framed will be in a limited edition and signed and numbered accordingly.  This is a great chance to pick up a fine art print with the best material and workmanship available today.  Thanks for your interest and let me know if you have any questions about the print.
Prices include air shipment in the continental U.S.  except for sizes larger than 16x20.
