November 20, 2005:  The San Juan River portfolio has taken on a very special meaning to me artistically.  I am following a new artistic process that enables me to more effectively communicate the emotions of the setting in which I am photographing.  Today sees the release of a special essay which gives a little behind-the-scenes look at that process and the first photograph completed from the San Juan.  The essay is titled "Visualization Realized" and I hope you enjoy the presentation.

September 25, 2005:  The art of Jimi Hendrix is coming to Pendleton Art Center in Ashland, KY. The art of Jimi Hendrix will be on display for the FIRST TIME in the United States! View and purchase the original art of Jimi Hendrix...Original art, Giclees, and Posters. The art exhibit will be on display through October. You can see it during the normal hours of First Friday on October 7 from 5-9 p.m. and on Second Look Saturday on the 8th from noon-4 p.m. Other times by appointment.

August 5, 2005:  "The emotional light of "Sunflower" was a very special moment on the workshop.  The portfolio image is accompanied by a brief article for photographers on capturing "emotional light."  I hope you enjoy the artwork and the article. 

August 3, 2005:  "Twisted" has joined the "Open Range" portfolio.

August 1, 2005:  "Ancient Royalty" is now on the home page and is in the "Open Range" portfolio. 

July 31, 2005: "Wall of Ancient Portraits" is now added to the "Open Range" Portfolio.

July 30, 2005:  "The Great Orion Nebula" print has been added to the astrophotography portfolio.  This area of space is the embodiment of God's Great Creation.

July 28, 2005:  Astronomy magazine has made a very nice print of The Pipe Nebula in their August issue on page 63.  Check it out at a newsstand near you.

Introduction to Digital Astrophotography by Robert Reeves is now available from Willmann-Bell, Inc. 

The Backyard Stargazer:  An Absolute Beginner's Guide to Skywatching with and without a Telescope by Pat Price is now available from Quarry Books/Rockport Publishers.

July 28, 2005:  "Storm on the Open Range" is now on the front page with a preview at the 2005 portfolio page.  More Utah photographs to come so please stay tuned.

July 26, 2005:  The first artwork from Northern Utah was posted today-Field of Dreams.

July 17, 2005:  The publication USNO Almanac for 1800-2050 featuring the Venus Transit image is now available from Willmann-Bell at this link. 

July 16, 2005:  A new section for photography studies and experimentation is now online.  This section will feature work organized by calendar year.  I hope you enjoy the presentation.

May 16, 2005:  I am honored to have been a featured profile in my local paper, The Herald-Dispatch on May 12, 2005.  Nicole Sheets conducted the interview and the profile is well written.  Unfortunately, the photographs are no longer available online as Lori Wolfe did a very nice job with those as well.

March 7, 2005:  The exhibit at the Huntington Mall was a big success.  It was a pleasure meeting many of you and sharing life stories.  I hope to see you again and talk over great times and places.
